REMEMBERing the Hanoi Action Plan we adopted at our sixth summit on 15-16 December 1998 in Hanoi and the ASEAN Ministerial Agreement on Tourism Cooperation signed in Cebu, Philippines on 10 January 1998, which included the development and promotion of ASEAN as the only tourist destination with world-class standards, facilities and attractions; (5) promote the development and promotion of ASEAN as the only tourist destination offering world-class standards, facilities and attractions; (9) promote investment opportunities in the ASEAN tourism industry; (3) significantly reduce restrictions on trade in tourism and tourism services between ASEAN Member States; (11) Promote public-private partnerships in the field of tourism marketing and promotion, in cooperation with international and regional tourism organizations and other relevant organizations.
